Ya Think!

Spiritually Inspired Messages

The fire crackles and sputters in the chill night air as the heat and smoke of the dry burning wood induces a calm and trance-like state. Many visions and thoughts compete for recognition as the flames dance hypnotically in the stillness.

A predominant remembrance then surfaces; of a child, sad, resigned and lonely, sitting quietly on the end of her bed looking out of the window in the small hours of the night. Gazing longingly up at the starry heavens, helpless tears, silently falling from eyes that are so aware and yet not understanding, roll unheeded down her cheeks onto the collar of the small flannel nightgown.

The child’s inner knowing had connected again longing for something more. She thinks of her parents and sisters fast asleep in other rooms and knows that they cannot help her find clarity with what she is looking or longing for. She sees things through her perception and hears things beyond her human ears that she is told by them does not exist. Yet, she herself knows what she knows. As she looks up at the night sky again, she asks for answers to help her to understand why, only she, a young girl in this family, seems to realize there is so much more to life.

As has happened before, once she formulates the question, listens and trusts, she is given an answer. This time, it was presented in the form of a picture for her to translate.
